Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)
Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), oversees grants programs that assist individuals with disabilities, such as learning disabilities, in obtaining employment and living more independently. It provides support like counseling, psychological and medical services, job training, and other individualized services.
The major Title I formula grant program of RSA provides funding to states vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies for employment-related services to persons with disabilities. Priority is given to those who are most severely disabled.
What can I do to get help from my local VR agency?
People with disabilities can overcome barriers by participating in local VR programs. They are encouraged to be focused on their abilities and receive the training necessary to enable them to get employed.

You may be eligible for VR services if you:
- A physical or mental disability substantially limits your ability work. You need vocational rehabilitation services in order to work.
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or Social Security Disability Insurance, (SSDI) are available to you.
Income is not an determining factor in determining your eligibility. It depends on how severe your disability affects your ability work.
